- Computer Club @ The RetreatPosted on: 2005-07-21I'm sure we've all been to different types of schools and clubs, but so far, I have to admit this Computer Club we have is great.! I enjoy my computer at home and just picked up a new laptop. The information we gain at these meetings makes going on the computer fun. After the meeting..I rush home and try what I picked up right away.. Think about it.. you might enjoy the topics and learn from our 'teacher Joe' and from others who give their time.. We appreciate what time he gives us. Thanks Joe!

he says..' One of my greatest fears is people going to bed preparing for a Cat1, but instead waking up to something as bad as Hurricane Andrew'. We might be in a 20yr cycle that bagan in 1995. Many deaths were after hurricane, some with Heart attacks, or repaires by homeowners. As most of us know, August & September are the highest months. I'd like to see people here reach a compromise to save alot of work and risk at these times. Logic tells us to make our homes as safe as we can in these times. What about the women in this area.. that live alone, or husbands have a heart condition etc..?
Let's try to work together as a positive group. If you have any coments you can reach me at : Palmbchtom@adelphia.net
Website:Palmbchtom@adelphia.net - The Green Book was wrtten BEFORE last years HurricanesPosted on: 2005-06-16We really need to re-think our hurricane 'workloads' here. If we are flexible, we can hold down costs, and extra work in the months of August & September. We already saw 1 hurricane hit the gulf and Florida's panhandle area.. just for everyone's info..some of the hardest hurricanes come in from the west that will hurt us here on the east coast. I've seen it before. I'd like to see a semi locked down time during August & Sept. If not, you Will see our costs and extra house assessments going higher.Email:Plambchtom@adelphia.net
